Bladder Ulcers

I am a new member , joined today 10/13/09.

I have had bladder controll problems for 28 years when I had my one baby.

I have wetting accidents all the time. Cough and sneeze really sets it off.

I began having lower abdominal pain by my bladder about 6-7 months ago. And the doctor wasn't too alarmed.
Thru constant complaints I was sent for a Cat-Scan KUB test.
It showed nothing wrong the Radiologst stated.

Thru more complaining to the doctor , I was sent to a Urologist on 10/12/09

He was really consirned about the pain and felt I needed an immediate Cystoscopy.

So I let him do it > My bladder is Full Of Ulcers*

He put me on : Elmiron. 3 capsules daily for atleast 2 years.
He said it'll be 3 to 6 months before I notice any improvement.

I hurt so bad.

Can't take Narcotics , they don't work , and they cause severe side effects for me.

I get frequent UTI's because I also have irrtable bowel syndrome diarrhea version and I lose controll and fill my undies* full of mush.

That goes up the urinary tract and then I am really sick.

Do any of you have Bladder Ulcers ?
