If you take the medication called > ELMIRON , you cannot drink Cranberry Juice. It has bad mixing effects for some reason.

I have heard that it has to be pure cranberry juice. I just had splenda and add water, even sparkling water can make it more drinkable.

Yes it does, only, it is best to take capsules as one capsule equals 8 glasses of cranberry cocktail and you won't get all that sugar in the drink. also, take vitamin C, and no orange juice. My Urologists secretary said that can make matters worse. Drink lots of water and if you have to put a hot water bottle between your legs and another on your tummy. If you bleed, see your doctor.

I get chronic bladder infections and I have found that cranberry juice and cranberry vitamins (“Spring Valley” Brand Natural Whole Herb Cranberry Fruit capsules) will keep infections at bay.

So does cranberry Juice really help a bladder infection? I've heard this, but wasn't sure if this was just a wive's tale!
