I just had a uti and have had several recurring ones in the past few years. Does this cause bladder weakness? When I have a uti I leak like crazy. I have to stay home, had to take off work because I can hardly make it to the bathroom. Beside that all I do is pee. With a uti I leak at night can can come out of the bathroom and go right back in. Anyone have this?

I have had what feels like a UTI, 2 in the last 2 months. Nothing found in the urine sample or urine culture. Just a tightening of the muscle while urinating. Dr. didnt find anything on exam. Could this just be my hormones? Also having to get up a few times a night to void.

I have found that UTIs occur mostly during the summer months, when heat and humidity are a contributing factor. Bladder control products are a blessing, BUT ... remember to change them often! My Dr. told me that urine is basically anticeptic when fresh, but heat and outside bacteria cause it to change into amonia and harbor unhealthy organisms. Wearing a damp pad (even if only damp from perspiration) for extended periods of time, can cause or foster a UTI. Prevention is the key! Cranberry juice is definately a great help in combating the infection, but don't forget to see your Dr.!

I had recurring bladder infections for years and found that after I drank 5-6 16oz glasses of water a day, one glass with lemon juice to cleans the tubs, my bladder infections comepletely vanished. I was told my body was toxic and my tubs needed cleansing and sure enough it worked! Good luck and pass this on please.

Hi all, how does having an UTI affect your bladder control? Mine is far worse when i have one. Normally i am doing fine with a small pad in the day but when i have an UTI i need much more protection. Do you have the same experience? Greetings, Maren
