I place a piece or two of adhesive tape at the top of the pad and attach it to the top of my underwear. The pad then does not slip down and bunch up. In some cases I will put my undershirt inside my underware so thet it is between the oad and ny body. this also helps to prevent bunching.

No, I'm not upset, I just want this to be a serious discussion. I just don't want to go down the dark side. And all with a control problem have stumbled upon what I'm eluding to. Some just don't realize what there saying, and it sticks out like a sore thumb. I hate to pick on anybody's comments previous to this "up or down" is a valid question. Then they mention folding it over. Come on, a ultimate or maximum pad folded in half must appear to be a softball hiding in pants. Does half the pad adhesive stick to brief, and the other half to skin. ????
It's sad but I'm waiting to log in and see "I use poise ultimate inside a depend brief, under my panties."

Okay, lets try to keep this topic under control. I've never had any adhesive problems with briefs. If you compare male guards to poise there really isn't much difference. So men and poise isn't very out of the ordinary. Now when you start wearing panties is when it goes south.

Good morning William, you asked if wearing a full nylon brief would be better at holding the pad in place. I've been wearing protection for over three years and yes a nylon panty is much more effectiive at keeping the pad in place. I have been wearing vanity fair briefs for almost three years and they work better than jockey shorts.

I've used just about every pad out there, both male guards and female pads. Meijer (KY,OH, MI) brand is the best store brand incontinence product. TENA/Serenity are the best as far as protection, but they are more expensive. Poise is the best name brand for the money. They seem to be narrow, at least for me, but they're usually enough. I just put them in my male brief. The new Extra Coverage/night time Poise are wider than the other size pads. I've just bought some of those and they work well. Poise usually offers coupons on their website, but I haven't been able to get them since the turn of the new year.

My wife was very supportive. I have to say that I was very self conscious in the beginning. Can anyone see the pad when I bend over? Do they know......etc.
Dianna just let it pass without a harsh word or the bat of an eyelash. She just said I'm sorry your having problems, but I've been wearing pads for years, what can I say.

See I new it was just more than me that were dissatisfied with the male products.
I was wondering about the arrows too. I didn't see anything on the package about them. So I put the arrows forward, although I don't see any visible difference in the pad.
I use moderate extra coverage during the day because there discreet, and ultimate extra coverage at night.

I'm a male and wear Poise pads as well. I use the Maximum and the Ultimate levels of protection. They are really good. I have also started using the Extra protection/overnight . They provide the really good coverage where needed. Unfortunately, my wife is not as supportive.

No telling what does it. Oh well. Just wanted to express my support and empathy hon.

i have had an on-going issue that I use Poise for a long time, but it was always sort of controllable or I just ignored it mostly. But after my baby it got really really worse, with many visits to my gyno, and only a certain amount of improvement with kegel exercises (do u know what they r I hope?) and some medication. Poise pads, and Poise panties until they stopped making them, have been effective for me, although certainly somethingI would love to not need. So many of my friends use them too it is jsut amazing.

Best of luck to you, I imagine it must be a whole different issue for u as a man. Do other men u know have to wear them also? I really never thought about men needing any such thing, but I can see it now that u have brought it up. I applaud ur wife for her help to u, what a sweet lady she is.

I wish u all the best, as I am sure all the other girls here do as well.

Susan, thank you for your reply.
The system will not allow me to post a reply. It keeps flagging my content, and I can't figure it out. It's nothing out of line. I've sent a message to the help department. Maybe It'll get cleared up.
nighttrain1017@hotmail.com if you'd like my feedback. Maybe they'll get the problem fixed.

Hi Kevin,

Indeed bladder control is a very important thing.

I must admit I am very curious though as to what is causing your problem. Bladder issues are very common for us ladies as you can see from this whole discussion area, but I was always thought that men were almost immune to them except in cases of surgery, injury, disease, things of that nature. So, I was just wondering what is going on with you. I don't mean to pry, I am just trying to learn and you can see that we ladies try to help each other here.

Incidentally, how do you wear Poise? Do you have some sort of tight underpants as we girls do? Do the pads actually give a male the coverage of his vital areas? Just curious hon.

Love,

Susan
