Hi.wbwkhw.

i received a post from you but i do not know how. as you can gather i am a male using poise ultimates they are great for me. they are far less bulkier than any other -pads. the surface agrees with my skin also the lenght covers a lot of area. i have no idea where this will end up but good luck. Don.

Poise products are so much superior however they will not feel differently...but they will hold the fluid much better. You should go see your doctor...I suggest a urogynecologist...that is a urologist and a gyn all rolled into one...find out whats going on . I did and am I glad I did!

Well, first of all, let me say that I can definitely relate. I've had exactly the same problems. I actually used to teach aerobics, too when I was in college. Anyway, it sounds like you've got stress incontinence. I'd recommend seeing your doctor. In the interim, I'd try Kegel exercises-look up the proper technique. Finally, yes, specifically-designed incontinence pads are much more absorbent than regular maxis, but they really don't feel that much different to wear. I'd start with one of the Poise pads (maybe the extras) and see how it goes.

Good luck,
Anne

need advice fast

Jul 14, 2007 8:18 AM
I am an aerobics instuctor and i recently started having wetting episodes. sometimes it could be a leak on the beam or sometimes it can be a gush with a run or sneeze. its really embarrassing, so now i have to wear maxi's 24/7 and it is ruining my routine: 8:30am- get to work, change pad, into leotards // 9:35am-dash to bathroom, change soaked pad, spray odor// 10:50am- pad leaked, gotta change it and rush// 1:05pm- pad slips out of place, go to bathroom// 3:00pm- middle of class, pad stinks and very full, gotta change. its a hassle, and sometimes i feel like a baby with all those changes. Now i think it is time for an incontinence product. can somebody please tell me how it feels, and what i can expect? and is it going to be any different than a maxi? thank you.
