hello ,i went to walmart today and purchased a pack of depends guards for men they fit pretty good but dont seem to have the absorbancy of the poise pads ,i will try this pack tonight and see but i think i might go back to a pad, the only advantage i see to the guard is it is sorta shaped for a man but not as soft as a pad

Sometimes I use them during the day. It depends on where I'm going. I've never had any problem with any pad (any brand) staying in place on a male brief.

hello robert and thanks for the reply do you use the overnite ultra pads during the day and are they very bulky and do the stay in place good i mean do they stick to what ever type underware you use

They'll probably be the same size. I still think that the TENA male guards are better than the depend male guards. The pads designed for women are the best option.

hello group i received a sample in the mail of tenna male guards for incontinence wore one today and did not like it --not comfortable or large enough to cover like a pad i will try to get some depends guards for men and try them

the Poise "extra Coverage" night time pads (usually come in a pack of 30) are a little wider, in my opinion.

hello i thought it was me thinking the poise were not as wide as they used to be they are comfortable between my leggs but i wish they were wider are the depends wider

Have been using poise for quite sometime they used to be wider now I find them narrow. will try depends

I agree. The pads, while narrower, offer more absorbtion. However of the male guards, TENA is the best in my opinion.

i have tried the male guards from tenna and do not like them the pads work better i think because of the length and the different absorbancies you can use

I am a male and use poise. I've found that the Maximum and the Ultimate size pads are sufficient (at least for me). Sometimes the width is not enough for rapid, heavy leakage, but usually, they contain most everything. I've just recently tried the Extra Protection/overnight size and they are wider. I haven't experienced any drawbacks to Poise Pads besides what I mentioned above about the width.

In a nutshell, are there any guys that use poise, and are there any drawbacks? The male guards could use alot of improvement. Length is a big issue.

Very disappointing. I tried to post to this topic with a very valid question, and I keep getting a flag on my content. Called poise and they didn't see anything wrong with it.

hi new to poise<3 any ann is write poise pads are strictly designed for women. but i have seen some young men buying them at the drug store. but only once in awile but i see nother wrong with a man useing them! and also see nothing wrong with men using this foroum to. the way i look at it were all in this together men and women!!!! any way i just thought i state my opention havent been on in a while so good luck newtopoise!!!! shannon<3
