false report says menopause cant cause mood problems

Mar 14, 2007 11:21 AM
unfortunatley a false report is being reprinted & quoted around the web on medical websites as though it were *fact*--it says "women cant get mood problems from menopause so hormone treatments will fail; & women who report menopause can cause mood problems either have a history of *mental issues* and/or are really just upset over aging issues." this report was done by the NIH (ntl. institute of health) in 2005.

if the FDA should "agree" that "mood problems created by menopause is *all in your head*" then they'll *stop* approval of hormone treatments for this symptom--this means no woman will be able to get that medical care. to prevent this from occurring you're encouraged to take action & also to speak out. our medical care is at risk here!

fact--millions & millions of women worldwide (throughout history) have reported that menopause *can* create mood problems & also that hormone treatments help many--this statistic *can't* be dismissed as "all their heads" as the NIH said, nor is it some "coincidence". that many women *can't* be wrong.

for reference you can find this report at this website:
