I had a total hysterectomy when I was 29 and went thru a Surgical induced Menopause. It was not bad at all. Only lasted afew short years. Mainly just the hot flashes and sweating out at night.
Couldn't take Estrogen because I have a genetic tumor disease and these tumors thrive on estrogen.
I am now 52, and was told I could go thru it again , but my Gyno said you can't do it twice.
I have heard many and varied lengths of time on how long Menopause lasts, usually 10 years, I just recently turned 37 this past April 18th and I have been going through the Change for 2-3 years now, so far, so good!!!! LOL!!!!
Seriously though, I am doing well, thus far, now, watch me say that and.....LOL!!!!
