I was just thinking about the same thing. I hated the disposible underwear they gave me. Everything was so bulky. SO I was wondering if the poise panty would be good while I'm in the hospital too.

It isn't too bad after you leave the hospital. They give you the underwear in the hospital to wear and by the time you leave it is just regular maxi's. I always take the extra panties home (three boys) and I only use them the first couple of days the baby and I are in the bed!

I've heard that after giving birth, women experience a large amount of bleeding, more than a heavy period. Has anyone ever used poise products for this problem, I am considering getting the poise pantys for myself for after I give birth, and would like to know if it is worth it, or just to go with the super maxipads?
