He could if you can get something else, but they do have garments just for men. The absorbant padding is more to the front and usualy come in a brief form

my dad hurt his back he loses bladder control can he use poise pads or is there something else he can get?

Yes, I have had this problem for sometime.
I have degenerative disks at L4, L5, and S1 which affects the sciatic nerve. I causes weakness in the legs, problems walking and moderate incontinence, but only when sneezing, coughing, or any other stressful activity.
So yes, it's rather normal.

Has anyone heard that possible back problems may attribute to incontinence?
